I am Mr. Bhim Gurung, president of Bhutanese Community in Nebraska (BCN). BCN is a non-profit organisation established by the Bhutanese people in the Nebraska in 2009. This is the only Nebraskan based Bhutanese welfare forum to support all the Bhutanese people living here in the Nebraska. BCN also assists those people who deserve our-help in other part of the US. On behalf of myself as a president of BCN and on behalf of all the Bhutanese Community in Nebraska, I am pleased to express my sincere thanks to all the individuals who have helped me to be in this position and would like to welcome you all to our website.
BCN, a team of young and dynamic group works volunteer for the society. Our team has and will work constantly to reach its target objectives. The basic objectives and future vision of BCN are to create the atmosphere of unity among all the Bhutanese living the Nebraska, assists our people in integration, education and organized get-together cum cultural programs. BCN will also try to identify the challenges faced by our people and try to solve their problem. In BCN, we just believe everyone has equal value and each person is worthy to get involved on this welfare forum. BCN is always there to support our people living in the Nebraska and also the vulnerable group of people living elsewhere.
BCN does not have special funding. Most of the time, activities are organised through our own contributions and contributions from our well-wishers. I on behalf of BCN would like all those wonderful people to know how thankful we are all for your generous support. We appreciate your pasts support and expect future assistance.
